Hengxing science and technology park – located in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently officially recognized as a provincial-level entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base for small and micro enterprises.
With a floor space of about 180,000 square meters, Hengxing's entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base for small and micro enterprises began operating in June 2021.
Attracting innovative ventures to locate themselves there – such as incubation institutions and service institutions – the base strives to develop productive service industries and cultivate technology-based enterprises and specialized industrial clusters.
It's dedicated to becoming a venue that integrates technology enterprise incubators, small and medium-sized enterprise entrepreneurship bases and headquarters bases. It also combines high-end support facilities, financial industry clusters, industrial design and cultural creativity and other modern service industries.
By the end of 2023, there were 310 registered enterprises in Hengxing's entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base – among them an estimated 200 SMEs in the digital, cultural and creative, industrial internet and productive service industries.
