A new vehicle plant that has been erected in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone – in Xinghua city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently included in the list of 2024 Jiangsu Province Major Projects.
Operated by the zone's Poly Orica (Jiangsu) Mining Machinery Co Ltd, the facility aims to produce 500 units annually, including mixed explosives trucks, fire water tank trucks and environmental protection operations vehicles.
When complete, the plant is predicted to meet the development needs of other special vehicle models – consolidating the company's competitive position in the specialized vehicles market.
The company is controlled by China Poly Group and was established by a joint venture of Australia's Orica Limited and Jiangsu Xing'ao Machinery Industry Co Ltd.
With over 40 years of production history in specialized vehicle products, Poly Orica (Jiangsu) Mining Machinery is the only enterprise in East China with qualifications for the production and modification of on-site explosives mixing trucks.
