Xinghua city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is rolling out a slew of measures to galvanize companies to develop new projects, leading the way in a trend towards further expansion in the region.
At the premises of Taizhou City Yongning Acrylic Products Co Ltd, based in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone, the production site was in full swing on March 1.
"With the support of Xinghua, our company's funding gap problem has been resolved," said Lin Hai, general manager of the company.
The company's workshop will launch a new fully automated casting line, which can achieve a 50 percent increase in its single production line output value through process upgrades.
On Feb 17, the last day of the Spring Festival holiday, Xinghua held a special conference on high-quality industrial development.
It commended 116 enterprises at the event, up from 71 companies commended in the same event the previous year.
To offer companies a more flexible business environment, Xinghua has implemented three lists of exemptions and lighter fines for enterprises that infringe rules and regulations. This resulted in a 78 percent decrease in the amount of administrative penalties for enterprises last year.
