The transport bureau of Xinghua city, East China's Jiangsu province, has developed service models to simplify the approval process for large cargo transportation.
The transportation of large items has long-faced problems such as difficulty in receiving approval, long processing times, and high costs.
The bureau has optimized the relevant processes to achieve fast approval. In the past, applicants had to travel back and forth between multiple government departments. Now, all approval processes are centralized on one platform, and various departments work together to shorten the processing time.
"In the past, when we applied for relevant certificates, we had to send the documents to the administrative service center window. After the window accepted them, we could process them, which took about a week. Now we can directly apply on www.jszwfw.gov.cn, which can be handled on the same day, and we can receive the certificate by the third day," said Zhou Pingfeng, project leader of Jiangsu Yanghan Construction Engineering.
Since the start of this year, the bureau has also sent tailored liaison officers to five enterprises, helping them to efficiently handle 11 large transportation permits.
