Progress has been made on the Yancheng-Yixing High-speed Railway passing through Xinghua city, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in Jiangsu province, with the first cushion cap of Pier 176 of Chenbao Town Extra Large Bridge successfully poured.
The cushion cap is located on the south side of S352 Provincial Road in Zhouze village, Zhouzhuang town, Xinghua, and is 9.5 meters long, 5.6 meters wide, and 2 meters high, with a concrete pouring volume of 121.6 cubic meters.

In recent days, the Xinghua section of the railway has been ramping up construction efforts. The construction units are carefully organizing workers and machines, monitoring the schedule, and making every effort to ensure project construction progresses as efficiently as possible.
The railway will start from Yancheng in the north and pass through Yangzhou and Taizhou in the south. After crossing the Yangtze River from Jingjiang, the railway will enter Jiangyin, and then pass through Wuxi and Changzhou, before ending at Yixing.
There will be 10 stations along the line, which is expected to be open to traffic by 2030.
