Xinghua in Jiangsu province is now prioritizing the development of a youth and talent-friendly city. The construction of high-quality apartments for young talents has become the city's top priority project to honor and attract talented individuals.
The talent apartments' planning was completed after several demand surveys and program adjustments. During construction, the city engaged over 560 young talents to provide suggestions.
The city has guided its towns, subdistricts, and industrial parks to utilize idle resources around industrial development needs to build youth talent apartments.
In Shenlun town, the fourth floor of the farmers' market has been converted into talent apartments and will soon be operational. Meanwhile, in Chenbao town, famous for its precision casting industry, 236 talent apartments are rapidly being built and are anticipated to be in use by the end of next year.
This year, Xinghua has added talent apartments to its government livelihood projects, aiming to build or expand over 2,500 units within two years to accommodate nearly 3,500 talents.
From 2023 to 2024, Xinghua added 9,770 young talents, a significant increase compared to previous years.
