Xinghua city in East China's Jiangsu province held a promotional event for its high-quality agricultural products in Zhuhai city of Guangdong province on Sept 27. The event welcomed guests from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to enjoy delicious Xinghua food.
As of now, Xinghua has established an influential national trading market for key products, including grain, river crabs, dehydrated vegetables, and freshwater products. Furthermore, the city is proactively striving to build a core area for the high-growth health food industry.
The event proudly featured nine of Xinghua's national-level geographical indication products, showcasing their quality. These products included hairy crabs, rice, and chrysanthemum tea.
The event was not only an important opportunity for Xinghua's high-quality agricultural products to tap into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market; crucially, it also marked a constructive starting point for deepening agricultural exchanges and cooperation between the two regions.
Following productive communications and discussions, Xinghua plans to actively introduce advanced agricultural technologies and modern management models from the region to promote the shift of its agriculture from yield advantage to quality and brand advantages.
