The 2025 Xinghua Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair took place in Xinghua, Jiangsu province, on Oct 20, presenting the achievements made in industrial upgrading and new opportunities for investment and development in the city.
Chen Fengjian, Xinghua's Party secretary, told at the fair that holding a series of economic and trade negotiation activities is quite important for enhancing trust, making good use of information, and strengthening confidence.
One highlight was the land handover ceremony of 16 cooperation projects. Among them were two major projects worth more than 5 billion yuan ($702.28 million), related to new energy vehicles and super energy filter presses production.
They also included five major projects worth more than 1 billion yuan each, four projects worth over 500 million yuan each, and five science and technology innovation projects.
"For those projects set to settle in Xinghua, our city will offer comprehensive guarantees in land, factories, and funds, as well as full cycle services," said Shao Jianfeng, Xinghua's deputy Party secretary.
Wang Yong, secretary of the Party working committee of the Xinghua Economic Development Zone, also promoted the zone's health food industry.
