Taizhou in Jiangsu province held a health food promotion event in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on June 26, during which six cooperation projects were signed on-site.
During the event, an unveiling ceremony for the healthy food science and innovation liaison center between Shenzhen and Xinghua Economic Development Zone in Taizhou also took place.
Shao Jianfeng, mayor of Xinghua, a county-level city under Taizhou, said that Xinghua is committed to expanding its health food industry, primarily by capitalizing on its unique advantages across the entire development lifecycle, namely high-quality natural raw material supply, a solid industrial foundation, and a thoughtful and considerate business environment.
He invited entrepreneurs to collaborate with Taizhou and Xinghua and embark on a journey of high-quality development in the healthy food industry.
Cao Chunhui, executive director of Federation of Shenzhen Commerce, said that the resources of the two places are highly complementary. Shenzhen, located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, has advantages in markets, technology, and channels, while Xinghua has advantages in raw materials, production capacity, and industrial foundation.
