Xinghua in Jiangsu province held a science and technology innovation conference on Aug 15, which aimed to explore how technological innovation can drive industrial transformation and strengthen collaboration between industry and the innovation sector.
Chen Fengjian, Party secretary of Xinghua, said that Xinghua will continue to deepen cooperation with the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, the industrial fund, high-level talent from Xinghua, and market entities specializing in real-world applications in a bid to boost the development of new quality productive forces.
Weng Guangming, head of Xinghua's organization department, released the city's talent policies and introduced a series of supporting measures for the commercialization of science and technology innovation projects and the attraction of high-end and industrial talent.
The event also held a fund formation signing ceremony, as well as a signing ceremony for cooperation between universities and development zones. Six science and technology innovation projects were also announced on site.
