The 80,000-metric-ton 3D printing and high-end ceramic alloy wear-resistant casting production project of Jiangsu Shuangfa Machinery started construction in the Xinghua Economic Development Zone, Xinghua, Jiangsu province, on Sept 29.
With an investment of 1.2 billion yuan ($178.98 million), the project will build 15 new 3D printing production lines for casting sand molds and four ceramic alloy production lines.
It is expected to generate annual invoice sales of 1 billion yuan, assisting in the intelligent and green transformation of the zone's manufacturing industry.
The project will innovatively adopt sand mold 3D printing and new ceramic alloy core technology, completely revolutionizing the traditional casting production mode. This can solve the pain points of high energy consumption, low precision, and low efficiency in traditional casting.
High-end wear-resistant materials are an indispensable key supporting industry in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. They also serve as a core field for research and development in the global high-end manufacturing field.
The company has been involved in its field for many years. Its research and development team has devoted themselves to repeated experiments, providing technical support for the implementation of the project.
