Calligraphy gathering in Taizhou highlights Zheshang Bank's efforts

More than a dozen renowned calligraphers from across Jiangsu province and Taizhou city gathered in Taizhou for a New Year calligraphy event hosted by Zheshang Bank on Jan 24.

In recent years, Zheshang Bank's Taizhou branch has continued to innovate its financial products and service models, integrating financial services with cultural preservation and the development of cultural tourism.

The branch has strengthened support for areas such as cultural facility construction and operation, the promotion of intangible cultural heritage and cultural creative industries, and the establishment of cultural exchange platforms.

Beyond culture-related initiatives, the Taizhou branch has expanded its financial services to support industrial upgrading, urban development, and improvements in people's livelihoods, contributing to the city's broader economic and social progress.

The bank has focused on supporting Taizhou's key competitive industries, including health, shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment manufacturing, as well as automobiles and auto parts, to address enterprises' diverse financing needs.

By the end of 2025, the branch's outstanding inclusive loans amounted to 2.07 billion yuan ($300.16 million), reflecting a 322 million yuan increase since the start of the year. Manufacturing loans in this category stood at 1.67 billion yuan, rising by 261 million yuan year-on-year and demonstrating an 18.47 percent growth rate.
