Taizhou Museum signs cooperation deal with Museum of Samoa

The Taizhou Museum has signed a memorandum of intent on friendly cooperation with the Museum of Samoa in Apia, creating a new platform for cultural exchange between China and Samoa.

Under the agreement, the two museums are poised to deepen cooperation across areas, including historical and cultural exchange, exhibitions, and museum development, advancing the international museum sector.

A regular communication and consultation mechanism is set to be established, alongside frequent expert exchanges, to facilitate knowledge sharing in cultural relic preservation, exhibition design and education.

The partnership is also expected to see both sides co-organize traveling exhibitions and produce educational materials for broader public engagement. In addition, joint themed activities targeting young people will be launched, bringing together rural community custodians and cultural heritage practitioners to support collaborative projects and ensure the partnership's benefits reach wider audiences in both nations.
