The Jiangsu Football City League match between Taizhou and Yangzhou kicked off at Taizhou Sports Park on May 2, drawing crowds of soccer fans and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Taizhou.
Alongside the match, 16 local intangible cultural heritage items were presented at the venue, allowing visitors to enjoy traditional cuisine and folk craftsmanship while experiencing the game's excitement.
The aroma of local specialties such as Jingjiang crab roe soup dumplings, Huangqiao sesame pancakes and Xuanbao wontons filled the air. Handmade crafts, including Xinghua dough figurines, Hailing pyrography and Gaogang root carving, also attracted large numbers of visitors as inheritors demonstrated their skills on site.
Classic Taizhou delicacies such as dried shredded tofu, Jiangyan smoked barbecue, and Dalun mutton also became memorable parts of the matchday experience.
Specialty products from regions including Qushui in Xizang and Benxi in Liaoning province were also displayed, adding diverse regional charm to the event.

Among the many booths, Hailing crochet art stood out. Inheritor Xu Huabin led hearing-impaired students in creating delicate handicrafts with colorful threads. Soccer-themed items, including keychains, coasters, trophy decorations and mascot dolls, proved especially popular among young fans and families.
