As the Taizhou soccer team claimed the golden trophy of the 2025 Jiangsu Football City League, the city is rolling out a range of cultural and tourism discounts, inviting visitors to explore and enjoy the city.
Seven scenic spots in the city will offer free entry. The Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park in Jiangyan district, the Fengcheng River Scenic Area in Hailing district and the Kou'an Carved Mansion Scenic area in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone are free from Nov 2 to Dec 31.

The Fengcheng River Scenic Area includes attractions worth visiting, including Wanghai Pavilion, Meiyuan Gargen, Qiaoyuan Garden, and the Jiangsu Salt Tax Museum.
The Lizhong Water Forest Scenic Spot, Jingdongmen scenic area and Shi Nai'an Cultural Park, all located in Xinghua, are free from Nov 2 to Nov 7, while Huangqiao ancient town in Taixing is free from Nov 2 to Nov 30.
In addition to free admission, Taizhou is offering discounts on a diverse range of immersive tourism experiences. From Nov 2 to Dec 31, tourists can enjoy a half-price night cruise in the Fengcheng River Scenic Area and a 50 percent discount on tickets to Qintong ancient town.

Special discounts will also be offered on accommodation. From Nov 1 to Dec 31, Merlinhod Hotel in Taizhou will be offering tourists all over the world a 20 percent discount on the store price for accommodation. If they have made reservations in advance, they can enjoy a free upgrade to a higher room type upon check-in. Forest Hotel in Xinghua, meanwhile, has launched a discount of 99 yuan ($13.9) on all room types from Nov 2 to 30.
