Taizhou adds billion-yuan ship equipment project

A major ship equipment manufacturing project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($147.07 million) has been launched in the Port Industrial Park of Taizhou Medical High-Tech Zone, further strengthening the city's advanced marine equipment industry.

The project, invested by Changyue Technology, will focus on the research, development and manufacturing of critical ship supporting systems and components.

Once operational, the facility will be capable of producing 50 sets of intelligent ship control systems, 120,000 metric tons of new-energy dual-fuel supply systems, 15,000 tons of duplex stainless steel double-wall pipes, and 60,000 tons of ship outfitting components a year. It is expected to generate annual sales of 1.2 billion yuan.

The company's three core product lines are aimed at the high-end shipbuilding market.

Its new-energy dual-fuel supply systems integrate high-pressure fuel injection and fuel-mixing control technologies, enabling lower emissions while maintaining strong propulsion performance.

The intelligent ship control systems support smart management across navigation, vessel maintenance and cargo operations, providing key technologies for the next generation of intelligent shipping.

Meanwhile, the duplex stainless steel double-wall pipes are designed for the long-distance transport of toxic, flammable and highly corrosive chemicals, meeting the stringent construction standards required for international chemical tankers.
