The National Development and Reform Commission has released the evaluation results of the first batch of "Urban Credit Monitoring and Early Warning Indicators" for 2026, with Taixing, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, receiving a credit rating of "good", the highest rating available.
Behind the impressive achievements are the city's dedicated efforts to boost development and support companies by promoting the construction of a strong credit system.
In the 2025 evaluation of urban credit monitoring, Taixing's average credit monitoring ranked 26th among 383 county-level cities in China and 6th in the province.
Taixing has issued the "Key Points for the Construction of the Social Credit System in 2026", which outlines 15 key tasks, with the goal of promoting the deep integration of credit into the economy and society.
Relying on the Taizhou Public Credit Information Platform, Taixing regularly collects 21 categories of credit-related information, including administrative licenses, administrative penalties, credit commitments, and utility payment records..
This year, a total of 561,923 pieces of data have been collected, and the credit database has been continuously improved to provide strong data support for credit services and credit supervision.
To improve the efficiency of business operations, Taixing has implemented a model that uses just one paper credit report instead of multiple paper certificates, significantly reduces service time and lowers institutional transaction costs.
At present, local enterprises only need to submit one application to receive a special credit report that integrates information from multiple government departments. The whole process only takes one working day.
Taixing's credit system is marked by differentiated, inclusive and prudent credit supervision. The city has established a credit grading and classification supervision system in more than 20 areas, including ecological environment protection, cultural tourism, and engineering construction, and implemented classification management based on credit grading.
Trustworthy enterprises can be directly exempted from some routine on-site checks and can also enjoy free credit management and compliance management training provided by government departments on-site.
