In celebration of the upcoming Children's Day and Dragon Boat Festival, Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province will launch over 200 cultural and tourism celebration activities.
The city is striving to harness its dragon boat competition to integrate culture and tourism. Every Dragon Boat Festival, each county-level city and district holds its own competitions. The Shuanghe scenic area in Jiangyan district will hold a dragon boat race on May 31, showcasing the unbridled passion of the Taizhou people.

From May 30 to June 5, Shagou ancient town will host cultural and tourism events across various scenic spots, featuring traditional performances like bench dragon dances and waist drum shows alongside local delicacies such as fish balls.
In addition, Taixing Wanda Plaza will hold a Children's Day celebration on June 1, allowing children to experience paper cutting, clay sculpture, tie dyeing, and other traditional skills as well as make their own zongzi, a traditional Chinese delicacy made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves.
Scenic areas in Taizhou will also integrate two festivals with summer recreation. From May 31 to June 2, the Qiuxue Lake ecological scenic area will hold family-friendly water activities and food tasting activities.
