The 2025 Taizhou Marathon is set to kick off at 7:30 am on Oct 19 in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, welcoming participants from across the nation to experience the unique charm of this vibrant city.
In an exciting initiative, Taizhou has begun offering marathon runners the opportunity to explore its renowned tourist attractions for free, enhancing their visit with cultural and natural delights.
Participants in the full and half marathon can enjoy complimentary access to Taizhou's famous scenic spots from Oct 16 to 26 by presenting their race bibs or registration confirmation messages. Moreover, those affected by the cancellation of the fun run event can also visit these attractions for free by presenting the cancellation notification they received.

Among the highlights of the tourist attractions in Taizhou is the Qinhu Lake Scenic Area, which spans 26 square kilometers and is known for its water, wetlands, and ecology, earning it the nickname "Pearl of the Water Towns".
The Fengcheng River Scenic Area, covering approximately 2.3 square kilometers, serves as a cultural, ecological, and tourism hub for Taizhou and a significant tourist destination in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Another must-visit attraction is Taizhou Naval Vessel Cultural Park, centered around the planning and development of "three ships and one submarine". It is a naval cultural display platform and naval-themed base focusing on popular science education, military education, and revolutionary education.
