The Belt and Road Youth Sports Exchange Week (Jiangsu) 2026 concluded in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, on May 24. The eight-day event wrote a dynamic chapter in the local history of young people from various countries gathering together and getting to know each other.

In the badminton competitions, 72 international students from 18 school teams showcased their skills. Zain Ali, a Pakistani student, said the experience was fantastic, and he exchanged WeChat contact details with his opponents, agreeing to continue playing badminton later as friends.

During the orienteering race, young people held maps to explore and run among the greenery of Mucheng Park, as they enjoyed the beautiful scenery the city has to offer.

Hosting the event highlights Jingjiang's achievements in cultural and sports initiatives and showcases the city's exceptional organizational capabilities, openness, and inclusiveness.

"The staff in Jingjiang are enthusiastic and always help us in a timely manner, so that we won't feel lonely during the competition. It was a very good experience," said Indonesian student Fakhrel ayman akbar.
