The centuries-old Wanghai Tower, a landmark in Hailing district carrying Taizhou's millennium cultural heritage, has reopened to visitors after months of careful renovation, drawing crowds of locals and tourists during the recent Dragon Boat Festival holiday.
Every floor of the historic tower now features a distinct themed exhibition that traces the city's long history. The ground floor displays precious relics including Song Dynasty (960-1279) city bricks, military stone projectiles and ancient arrowheads, alongside historical maps documenting Taizhou's urban evolution.

On the second floor, scaled models of ancient towers from various dynasties are arranged, accompanied by dynamic light projections that recreate the grand scene of ancient tides rising over the former coastal land.

The third floor blends palace lantern art with immersive projection, condensing Taizhou's millennia-long journey from a salt-trading hub to a thriving modern city into a few minutes of visual storytelling.
