Final preparations are underway for the much-anticipated 2023 Xinghua Beer and Lobster Festival, which will kick off in the Wujindang tourist resort – located in Xinghua city in East China's Jiangsu province – on July 18.
The festival will hold a curtain-raiser on July 15-17, offering a diverse range of fun activities such as a beer tasting and lobster banquet, as well as local food delicacies, night markets and on-stage performances.

The main venue for the festival will occupy an area of about 5,000 square meters, with display stands for cultural products, local delicacies and photography hot spots to be set up on both sides of road at the resort.
A grand outside dining area will be erected on Yuanwutai square, which can accommodate 1,000 people.
The resort is the first provincial-level tourist resort in Xinghua and the second one in Taizhou. It features the renowned Qianduo Cole Flower Scenic Area, Lixiahe Wetland Park, Dongluo village and Wujindang Wetland Park.
