The city of Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is the hometown of Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang. The Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall in Hailing district is an excellent place to learn more about the master.
The hall is surrounded by water on three sides and shaded by green trees. Its main structure features the architectural style of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
