As summer heat settles over Jiangsu province, Taizhou's waterways and parks are coming alive with lotus blooms, drawing visitors to a fragrant world of pink and white petals against emerald-green leaves.

At Xiangtai Park, lotus flowers peek through broad leaves along the eastern pond, their reflections shimmering in clear waters shaded by dense trees. The scene offers a refreshing retreat from urban bustle.

In Jiangyan district, the Luotang block has embraced the season with a viral lotus market. Beneath bamboo stalls set against grey-brick architecture, vendors in traditional hanfu dress sell fresh lotus blossoms and seed pods, creating a living postcard of old-world charm.

For those seeking grandeur, Xinghua's vast lotus fields stretch to the horizon, where waves of green leaves support blooms at every stage — from tight buds to fully opened flowers.
